Description
The Active Part Assembly Platform is used to carry various assembly work on large Power Transformers at
different heights involving Active parts/ Transformer tank/ Assembled Transformer.
Two identical steel fabricated platforms are placed on either side of the Transformer which are capable of
moving up/down independently allowing personnel to work at different heights on both sides. The two
platforms may be bridged by using pallets on the other two sides to provide access all around the
Transformer for assembly work. The Up/Down movement of the platforms are motorised and have dual
control from top of the platform or from the floor level. Multiple narrow sliding strip t ype auxiliary
platforms with 150 kg weight carrying capacity are provided along the entire length of platform to provide
closer access to different parts of the Transformer.
