Description
The Pressboard after scarfing/ beveling operation is joined by glue under heat in a special type hydraulic up -stroking press. The pre rolled sheet with the beveled edges with glue applied in advance with proper alignment of the edges are placed on the lower beam. The Lower beam is pressed upwards by twin hydraulic cylinders against the fixed beam and kept in that position for the set duration. The heaters are fitted on the upper beam.
The upper beam, which is cantilever, has a hinge type locking arrangement (pneumatic actuation optional) to take the upwards thrust of the lower beam. The machine is equipped with pneumatically operated side support rollers on both sides to support the different diameter of the cylinder. An additional motorized traveling top beam is provided to support the top portion of the cylinder. The machine is equipped with an independent hydraulic power pack and electrical control panel.
